GENTLE YOGA
Gentle practice of yoga that honours where your body is today and helps to strengthen it for tomorrow. Yoga practices such as the postures, breathings and mindfulness encourages us to recognise our true nature, we are born peaceful, kind and compassionate.
Over 50's practicing yoga has tripled over the last 10 years. Yoga is recognised as being a good way to keep fit, stay mobile and socialise.
In gentle yoga, you move your body in kind ways, it encourages movement without the potential for strain. Each movement is linked with the breath, and we enter into the postures gradually . This preparation and fluid entry into postures protects and nurtures the joints, muscles, and connective tissue.
Props such as chair, yoga straps, blocks, blankets, wall, weights and yoga sticks are used. The possibilities are endless
